                        John J. Lovoi, Jr. DDS

Dr. Lovoi is a graduate of the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston and completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston where he held the distinguished honor of serving as Chief Resident for two years.  He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Houston Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, the Ninth District Dental Society (served as President), the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the Singleton Surgical Society. 
 
Dr. Lovoi has hospital privileges at Christus St. John in Nassau Bay and the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston where he also serves as a part-time Clinical Instructor.

Dr. Lovoi has presented numerous lectures including presentations for The Singleton Surgical Society and the Ninth District Dental Society.  He was on the UT Dental School Dean's Student Excellence List.  He received the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Achievement Award as a senior dental student.  He was selected to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and received the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity Fraternal Achievement Award.
